Wreath laying service
A symbolic gesture of respect, remembrance and gratitude.
Wreath laying service
Request the Last Post Association to lay a wreath on your behalf to commemorate someone.
How does it work?
If you cannot be present in person at the Menin Gate in Ypres, you can have a wreath laid during the Last Post ceremony through the wreath laying service.
The Last Post Association will perform this duty with reverence, utmost care and respect for those who gave their lives for our freedom.
Although you cannot be present in person, your tribute, feelings of respect and remembrance will be conveyed. Through the wreath laying, we reflect together on the sacrifices that were made and the courage that was shown.
The ceremonial assistants of the Last Post Association have the responsibility and privilege to perform this gesture on your behalf. We will ensure that the wreath is placed appropriately, as a symbol of our collective thanks and lasting remembrance.
By laying a wreath, you contribute to the respectful continuation of the daily commemoration. You thus support the work of the Last Post Association.
Your contribution for the wreath laying service is used entirely for the organisation of the ceremony and not for any other purpose. Through your contribution, this important tradition can be maintained.
Let us together be part of this important ceremony and pay tribute to those who gave their lives for our freedom.
We will remember them
By laying a wreath, you participate in the Last Post Ceremony. In this way you appreciate the commemoration of the fallen and contribute, from a distance, to continuing the tradition of respect and honour at the Last Post Ceremony.
