Daily ceremony

On 25/08/1895, Ernest Alfred Hall was born. On 25/08/2021, Murray Hall and his family wanted to lay a wreath during the Last Post Ceremony at the Australian War Memorial in Canberra. However this was not possible due to the fact that the memorial was closed due to COVID-19.
Youri Van Miegroet, one of the ceremonial assistants of the Last Post Association, laid a wreath during the daily Last Post Ceremony at the Menin Gate Memorial in Ieper, Belgium. He was accompanied by Jan Fieuw andStefanie Ameel, who both have a special connection with Ernest Alfred Hall.
