On Saturday 12 March 2011 at 10.00hrs a new monument in remembrance of the Indian fallen of the Great War was inaugurated. This monument can be found on the side towards the Rijselpoort on the ramparts. The inauguration took place in the presence of the Indian Ambassador and many other Indian and local authorities.
